The goal of Musical Theatre is  to extend and advance the knowledge and training of students through formal and informal performances along with a variety of advanced theatre based activities. This production based course provides a balanced theatre arts program emphasizing artistic perception, creative expression, aesthetic valuing, historical and cultural awareness and the interconnections of the arts and other disciplines along with opportunities for practical application of skills in school productions. Students will participate in both in-class project based assignments as well as school productions. This class is for students who have successfully completed Theatre Essentials, auditioned and received teacher approval.
